Detailed Itinerary:
06:00 AM: Early morning pick-up from your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe Depart for Jinja and meet fellow adventure enthusiasts joining the rafting experience.
08:30 AM: Arrive at the river base in Jinja. Receive a full safety briefing and gear fitting from the professional rafting crew.
White water rafting experience
Begin your 3-4 hour white water rafting adventure on the River Nile, tackling some of the best Grade 5 rapids along a thrilling 19 km stretch.
You may choose between:
- Paddle-powered rafting for maximum excitement
- Guide-controlled rafting, where professional guides paddle you through the rapids
Both options guarantee an adrenaline-packed and safe adventure.
Mid-River Island Break
Enjoy a snack break on a private island in the Nile, surrounded by stunning river scenery.
Post-Rafting Meal
After completing the rafting experience, you will enjoy a well-deserved meal at the river base.
Late in the afternoon, you’ll depart from Jinja for a drop-off at either your accommodation in Kampala or Entebbe, arriving at approx. 7:00 PM.
06:30 AM: Pick-up from your accommodation in Kampala or Entebbe Begin your safari with a scenic 3-hour drive northwards.
LUWERO STOP (SEASONAL FRUITS): Stop in Luwero to purchase fresh, organic seasonal fruits such as pineapples, mangoes, or yellow bananas from local vendors.
ZIWA RHINO SANCTUARY EXPERIENCE: Arrive at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, Uganda’s only rhino conservation area. After a briefing by experienced rangers, begin a guided rhino tracking walk lasting approximately 1-2 hours.
During the walk, you will:
- Track white rhinos on foot
- Learn about rhino behavior and protection
- Receive in-depth information on Uganda’s rhino reintroduction efforts
- Take memorable photographs at safe viewing distances
Your participation directly supports rhino conservation and sanctuary operations.
LUNCH AT AMUKA SAFARI LODGE: Enjoy a relaxing lunch at Amuka Safari Lodge, set within the sanctuary’s natural surroundings.
Afternoon – Leisurely drive back to Kampala for an evening drop-off at your accommodation in Kampala or Entebbe.
