Murchison falls National Park is 303km from Kampala, taking us about 6 hrs of a charming drive. This park is the largest in Uganda and the falls are considered to have the most powerful water rush in the world.

Detailed Itinerary:
Day 1: Kampala- Murchison Falls (6HRS)
Our safari day starts with your guide picking you up from your hotel or accommodation after your breakfast at 0630am. Enjoy your drive with our first stop in Luwero to buy the freshest organic fruits in Season; Pineapples, yellow bananas or Mangoes.
Enjoy a 3 hr drive to Masindi where you will have a 2 hr lunch break and then continue to the Park.
We drive to the top of the falls. Hop out of the vehicle and behold the beauty and aura in this place. We shall be in view of the most powerful water surge in the world take a 43 meter plunge with a plume of spray and a rainbow hanging over.
In addition to the amazing scenery here, you will also be able to view the beautiful Uhuru Falls. The admiration while viewing glorious and majestic Murchison Falls is truly magical.
Drive on to the lodge and spend the evening at leisure.

Day 2: Murchison Falls – Safari Day
We are out in the wilderness for a game drive early morning, in search of the big elusive cats and other inhabitants. With the skilful eyes of your guide, you are likely to spot the Lion, Leopard, Buffalo, Giraffe, Elephant, Oribi and Hartebeest just to mention a few.
After lunch, we shall go for a 3 hour cruise on the Nile waters up stream to the “Devils Cauldron” at the base of the falls. Here we get an optical glee of gigantic Nile crocodiles the biggest in the world.
See schools of Hippos cooling off from the afternoon heat in the river as well as the Buffalos and Elephants at the river banks. Enjoy too the stunning array of charming birds dotting the skies as we sail to the base of the Murchison Falls.
Sail back to the Paraa jetty, disembark and drive back to your lodge. Enjoy your evening with the lovely back drop of the golden sunset.

Day 3: Murchison – Ziwa – Kampala (7 Hrs)
After your sumptuous breakfast, we drive out of Murchison falls to Ziwa Rhino sanctuary which is the only place you will find the critically endangered Rhinos in the wild within Uganda. This walk, in search for the Rhinos, will take us 1-2 hours.
Have lunch and proceed to Kampala or Entebbe. Drive straight to your Accommodation in Kampala or Entebbe Airport for your departure flight.
