Detailed Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival
You will be picked from the airport and driven to your accommodation in Kigali.
- Accommodation: Hotel Dereva
- Meal Plan: Lunch and dinner
Day 2: Kigali – Musanze
Have Breakfast at your accommodation and we set off at 8.30am for the Kigali City tour. After Lunch we head to Musanze having a scenic drive into the land of a thousand hills.
- Overnight: Muhabura hotel
- Meal Plan: Breakfast, lunch and dinner
Day 3: Golden Monkey Tracking and Cultural Visit
Go for Golden Monkey tracking this morning at 8.00am. After lunch, we go to Iby’ Iwacu cultural center, where you may be crowned King or Queen for the day. Enjoy the captivating dances and cultural information of the Rwandan people.

Day 4: Musanze – Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
Have your breakfast and drive out of Rwanda heading for Uganda. We shall have scenic stopovers as we drive to our next destination Bwindi impenetrable forest where half the world’s population of mountain Gorillas is resident.
In the afternoon, you may go for a short walk near the lodge.- Dinner and overnight stay at Rushaga Gorilla Camp.

Day 5: Gorilla Trekking
Main activity today is Gorilla trekking.
After that, we drive back to the lodge.

Day 6: Bwindi – Lake Bunyonyi (2 hrs)
After our breakfast, we drive to the most scenic lake in Uganda, Lake Bunyonyi. It is believed to be the second deepest Lake in Africa after Lake Tanganyika.
Have Lunch after which, we shall go for a boat ride visiting different islands with very intriguing folklore.
Enjoy the sight of the remarkable amazing golden sunset at Lake Bunyonyi!- Dinner and overnight at Birds Nest/ Bunyonyi Eco Resort.

Day 7: Lake Bunyonyi – Queen Elizabeth (6 hrs)
Have your breakfast, after drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park.
After lunch, we shall go for an early evening boat cruise on the Kazinga channel. We shall see Elephants and Buffaloes on the river banks as well as hippos in the waters, cooling down from the afternoon heat.
- Drive to the Lodge.
- Dinner and overnight at Bush Lodge
Day 8: Queen Elizabeth – Entebbe (7hrs)
After breakfast, drive to Kampala with lunch en route.
Watch the interesting landscape and scenery, not missing the long horned Ankole cows on the way.
We shall have a detour outside Lake Mburo National Park to watch Zebras grazing. Have a stopover at the Equator. After drive on to the accommodation in Entebbe
- Dinner and overnight: 2 friends Hotel/ African Gorilla Guest House.

Day 9: Departure
Have your breakfast at leisure, and then drop you at the airport 3 hrs. to your onward out bound flight.
Depending on your out-bound flight, we can visit the Entebbe Botanical Gardens.
